How to Check That Your Taboola Pixel Works Correctly
Always use the Taboola Pixel Helper extension for the Chrome browser to make sure that all events fire properly. Double-check the status of your Pixel in Taboola Ads. If something isn't working, identify the issue.
When your pixel is installed correctly, you'll see a ‘Pixel – Active’ status on the Tracking page in the top bar of the page:
Note, it may take a few hours post install before this status is updated
There are statuses that also can appear:
No Activity — Your pixel hasn't sent events for more than 7 consecutive days.
No Recent Activity — Your pixel hasn’t sent events for more than 48 hours but less than 7 days.
Active — Taboola has received events from your pixel within the past 48 hours.
These statuses indicate that your Pixel is installed and connected to Taboola Ads.
If you see ‘Waiting for Pixel’ or ‘Not Installed,’ it means that either there is something wrong with the trigger or Taboola has never received events from your pixel. In the first case, use Taboola Pixel Helper extension for the Chrome browser to identify trigger issues.
