As part of Realize , we are introducing two new creative types: Display and Vertical ads.
The display and vertical betas are for Advertisers who are targeting mid-funnel KPIs ( i.e. CTR) and are looking to drive engagement during prospecting campaigns. These creative formats are not recommended for advertisers focused solely on bottom funnel outcomes.

This Page covers the upload process for Native Vertical ads. To upload vertical assets without headline, description or CTA, please visit this page.
During campaign setup, you will select whether you are using Native or Display formats. Once you have completed your campaign setup, selected native and are ready to add creatives, you will be directed to this screen for Native ads.
Here you will be able to choose from 3 different ad formats:
Note: During the beta phase, vertical ads should be run in their own campaign due to limited scale. Once we are out of beta, this format can be combined with Standard.
To Start Vertical Ad set up, choose vertical ads below.
Insert “Ad name” this will be used to identify your ad in creative reporting.
Tip: Add your aspect ratio i.e. Creative 1 9:16 in the ad name to help you analyze performance. Ad size will be added to reporting at a later date. Be sure to add the landing page you want this ad to click out to.
You have the option to include a Custom ID. This ID can then be transmitted to your internal reporting or third-party tracking tags.
Under Media, You can upload a single image. The support aspect ratios are 4:5, 9:16,1:2. Supported files types : JPG/PNG: Max 5MB.
Tip: you can upload each aspect ratio individually, crop your one image to the different aspect ratio or use the Replace button in the cropping tool.
To prevent automatic image cropping in the other aspect ratios, you can click the 'replace' button located in the bottom left corner below the image to upload the correct size.
Note: during the beta phase, to run only one aspect ratio, hit “Skip.” Only the uploaded ratio will render, even if others appear in the preview. Vertical ads will not serve on horizontal placements to avoid undesired cropping. This means that while the eligible supply is smaller, it also ensures that the ads will always appear as intended.
Once you have completed the above steps you will be brought down to the ‘Content’ Section.
Here is where you input your headline, description and CTA. If you want a different headline per aspect ratio or test multiple headlines, you will need to upload them one at a time during the beta phase.
Tip: Use our Gen AI Ad Maker tools, ‘Help me write’ or ‘Rephrase’ tools to help come up with titles for your ads.
Now you are ready to submit your Ads and set your vertical creatives live!
