Managing Payment Methods

Learn your options for how you get billed and different ways to pay.

This article will review how to manage your payment methods with Taboola. You will learn how to change the way Taboola bills you, update your payment method, and remove payment methods. Start by clicking on the way you get your bills.

Monthly Invoice Billing or Prepayment Billing

The information below is only relevant if you are using Monthly Invoice Billing or Prepayment Billing as your payment schedule. You can learn more about payment schedules here.

Changing Your Payment Method

You can change your payment method with Taboola at any time. You can simply pay with any payment method you’d like when paying an invoice or prepaying. You can learn more about accepted payment methods here.

Paying with a Credit Card

Add a credit card to your account and submit prepayments instantly via the platform. Follow the instructions found on our Credit Card Prepayment page.

Automatic Billing

The information below is only relevant if you are using Automatic Billing as your payment schedule. You can learn more about payment schedules here.

Currently, the only accepted payment method for Automatic Billing is by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).

Below, you’ll find information for managing your payment methods.

Adding a New Credit Card

To add a new credit card, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Billing & Payments page under the "Admin" icon

2. (Optional) If there is an existing credit card, you will first need to delete it before adding a new one. Instructions for deleting a credit card are below.

3. Click + Add Payment Method.

4. Fill in your credit card details.



5. Click Add.
Once the card has been added, you will see it listed on your account under "How You Pay":

Deleting or Editing Your Credit Card

To delete or edit your credit card, follow these steps:


1. On the Billing & Payments Page, hover over the credit card currently listed on file. When you do, two options appear to either edit or delete your card.
2. Choose the option you need and follow the directions to fill in or remove information.

Using Multiple Credit Cards for One Account

At this time, you can only have one active credit card per account. In order to add a new credit card, you will need to delete your existing credit card.

Currencies Accepted

  • Supported Regions include: US, Brazil, Japan, France, Spain, Germany, Israel, Italy, UK, and the EU.

  • Supported Currencies include: USD, BRL, JPY, EUR, GBP.

Fees

There are no fees for payments made via ACH or check. Advertisers who are on Monthly Credit Limit or Prepayment terms can contact their account managers to set up this form of payment.

Advertisers (excluding self-service accounts) who pay with a credit card may incur an additional processing fee of ~2% to 3.5%, depending on region.

  • For advertisers who Prepay. Fee will be deducted from your total available spend (for instance, when you add $100 you will have an available balance of ~$97).

  • For clients on Automatic Billing. Fee will be charged on top of your total spend (for instance, for every $100 of spend, we will charge you ~$103).
