How to Fix a Rejected Campaign or Campaign Item

Take these 5 steps to get your rejected landing page or campaign items approved for the Taboola network.

Updated this week

When your campaign or campaign items are marked as "Rejected," it means that your content has been deemed unacceptable for promotion across our network. When this occurs, your landing page or campaign items contain something that is in violation of our advertising policies.

To find out if your campaign or item was rejected, see Campaign Ad Statuses.

If you do find that your campaign or campaign item has been rejected, take the following steps to fix the problem(s) and get back on track.

Fixing a Rejected Campaign

1. To fix a rejected campaign, first check your campaign status and find the specific rejection reason.

2. Next, carefully review the rejection reason and determine which aspect(s) of your campaign items or landing pages caused the rejection.

3. Fix the violations in your campaign items or on your landing pages.

Important Note!

There may be multiple reasons for rejection, but only the most frequently appearing offense will be noted in your campaign rejection reason. As you work on your fixes, be sure to check your campaign to see if there are any other violations of our advertising policies that could ding you next time.

Each ad may be resubmitted only a maximum of 5 times. If your ad is not approved after 5 attempts, you must create a new ad.

4. If the rejection is due to a landing page reason, you will be able to resubmit your revised landing page by clicking on a button found on your ad (see below).

Please note: This feature is still in Beta and may not be available to 100% of accounts. If your account lacks the "Resubmit" button, please contact your account manager to resubmit your revised landing page — or just create a new one.

For all other rejection reasons, once you fix the violations, it will automatically be placed in the normal review process by our content review team.
