Tragic content: kidnappings, physical or sexual abuse, incest, accidents, stories resulting in or likely to result in severe injury or death (this includes historical and movie contexts), images of death, disease or injury, seriously sick people, and unsuccessful plastic surgeries.
Content promoting and or featuring the use of illegal weapons, self-harm, threatening or posing a threat to users, harm to people, and injury to pets.
Offensive content related to bullying, intimidation of an individual and or a group
Hateful and offensive content: symbols of hate, hate speech, offensive gestures, curse words, defacing/destroying government symbols, character shaming
Featuring content that has sexual overtones or innuendo
Showing shocking imagery such as deformities, feeding tubes, and needles visibly injected/inserted into the skin (needles alone are permitted), fresh/bloodied/scarred tattoos (face tattoos not permitted in thumbnails)
Exploiting or focusing on:
Race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, nationality
Social and or political subjects (must not feature active politicians)
People that recently passed away to drive clicks

Headlines featuring one word in all caps, referring to a specific slide (“Check Out #1”), using abbreviations (U instead of ‘You’, etc.), buzz words (‘Left with no words’ or ‘You will not believe’)

Featuring or focusing on pseudoscience predictions
Gossip content about celebrities
Unflattering or unpleasant imagery such as aged tattoos, strange food, tombstones, x-rays, skulls, and skeletons (permitted in archeological contexts only)
‘Grim’ humor
Drawn circles and arrows that drags user’s attention
What are some common policy violations?
Featuring or focusing on stories involving minors who are not celebrities on their own
Campaigns containing language mismatches. Campaigns must be in one consistent language (creatives and landing page).
Grammar mistakes such as incorrect punctuation, use of title capitalization in non-English campaigns, or use of full stops in French headlines
Missing complete imprint (Impressum) in campaigns targeting Germany and Austria, including advertiser’s name, address, contact email address, phone number, legal representative names (such as the CEO), advertiser’s registration number, and the location in which the advertiser is registered (Registernummer) and company’s VAT number (Umsatzsteueridentifikatonsnummer).
