What kind of images are usually rejected by the Content Review team?


  • Sexualised imagery

  • Overly violent

  • Social gaming specific:

    • Images showing tampering with machine and USB sticks

    • Falsely claiming or suggesting users can win real money such as showing real money

    • Extravagant living

    • Images of exaggerated emotion falsely implying something wrong happened such as showing people crying

What are the most frequently rejected claims by the Content Review team?


  • Sexualized or suggesting sexual innuendo such as ‘You can do anything you want in this game’ with imagery that could be perceived as sexualized when combined with the headline

  • Socially irresponsible references such as claiming the game is 'addictive'.

  • Misleading use of DKI

  • Social gaming specific:

    • Falsely claiming or suggesting users can win real money or trick casinos to win

    • Negative language about casinos disliking the product (not permitted on the premium network)

What is often missing and can be added to improve the landing page?


  • Media logos non hyperlinked to the relevant media article

  • Falsely giving the impression that users are viewing a news site or anything that is not promotional in nature such as not writing in prominent lettering at the top of the page "Advertorial"

  • Full company contact details.

  • Social gaming specific:

    • Missing mandatory disclosure like 'not real money winnings' or 'not real money gambling' early on the page (usually under the headline)
